I’ve been grappling between the small and medium latte at the local establishment. For an extra 26 cents I can upgrade to the third shot accompanied by three ounces of milk. It does throw off the ratio. I do enjoy the perfection of a 12-ounce latte, but the bargain hunter in me appreciates the deal. I went back and forth for a while. In the end I have decided to pass up on the illusory deal which leads me away from perfection.
