Much to my surprise and delight my old barista is back, steaming froth again at one of my regular joints. She said she likes floating about and had been pulling shots out west. Her latte art is still spot on and, of course, the latte was perfect. We caught up as much as our interaction would allow considering the line behind me. This connection we share is literally because of coffee.
